A new song challenge for Cromie Robert
The Covenanter International Holiday Conference 2010 has been given the go ahead by Synod and will be held at Gartmore House in Scotland. There is fantastic news for those hoping to attend as £60 has been wiped off the initial conference fee as well as cuts in acommondation costs which will hopefully enable more people to go. Credit must go to the organising committee for renegotiating the price tag (which nearly halves how much it will cost me to attend) and now I’m begining to plot the cheapest way to get across the Irish Sea.

“and now I’m begining to plot the cheapest way to get across the Irish Sea.”
the Covenanters used to row from Donaghadee to partake of the Lord’s Supper in Scotland. I reckon we could resurrect this mighty fine tradition and row to Termonscotland. Its not that far and if you have a calm day you might only loose 1 item of luggage in transit. I think its about 18 miles, though don’t quote me on that!
Sounds immense Bun! Book me a spot in your raft/dinghy/canoe/bathtub! Considering our physiques, you can row and I’ll steer! In fact, here’s a thought … why not recreate the epic canoe race/royal rumble from Senior Camp at the Share Centre a couple of years back?!?! A kind of Wacky Races on water!
A fine way to honour our forefathers!!!
Castlewellan ‘08 proved that large bodies of water are no barrier to RP Conferences!
